Olen is home to both production and commercial functions of Umicore Tool Materials. Additionally, the research and development lab is situated on this site, supporting all production units worldwide. Production capacity of Cobalt powders amounts to 1,500 metric tonnes per year, including a signifcantly increasing amount of Umicore's advanced Cobalite powders.
